South Central

I would describe South Central as a cool place to live.People think of South  Central as a real bad place to live when really its not.They try to say bad things about it like its dangerous, to many blacks, and to much violence.I lived in South Central basically my whole life its not bad at all.People just think that because of the LA riots, and the watts riots.The three events that made South Central a better place is the watts riots, the la riots, and the crack epidemic.

In my opinion one of the events that made LA a good place is the watts riots.One reason I say the watts riots made la a good place is because the police deserved to get beat up.Another reason is that people look back on the riot and learn from it.I also say that the watts riots taught people that if somethings not right stand up and speak on it.One more reason is that it teaches you things like your math.

Another event that had a big impact on south central is the la riots.One reason for that is Rodney King was beat to death for no reason.Another reason is that a young lady Latosha Harlins got shot by a korean lady over some orange juice.That had a big impact on south central because that was not fair or right that deserved a riot.That was cold how the korean lady did not go to jail she only got a $500 fine.

One more event that had a big impact on south central is the crack epidemic.One reason is that why there so many crack attics because the governer was shipping it in.Another reason is that people get addicted to it and started using it everyday.One more reason is that the effect was cold most people grew up without their parents and had no one to teach them from right to wrong.Its just wrong what the govner did becuase if that did not happen there would not be to many crack attics.

In conclusion I feel that all three of these events had a very big impact on south central.If you really look at it thank god that stuff happened because if it did not south central would just be the same like back in the day.Police officers still would be racist to blacks they still would be getting beaten up.I mean the riots were bad with how they burned everything down but they got their message across to the police and the koreans  so i’m glad that that happened.
